Let’s see, what can I tell you about me? I really don't care to speak about myself, but the truth is, if I don't tell you a little something about me then how will you get to know me? (Y’all, you’re not the only one He’s working on!) I have lived life with plenty ups and downs, ins and outs and round abouts. But, here I am! I’m a survivor and I want to share with you what got me through. (Note: YOU are a survivor, too!)

 

I’m a mother of two wonderful young men. I’m a grandmother and yes, I said grandmother, of two of the most precious little ones who bring me joy over and over again. I’m a daughter of the most wonderful parents I could have ever asked for and no words can express my gratitude. Oh, their patience raising me. Patience of Job! (Honestly, I would get on my own self’s nerves!) My favorite family tradition is sitting around talking and laughing. Just enjoying the comforts of home.

 

I’m an artist, graphic designer, lover of books, and all things nature has to bring. I love quiet time alone because I can reflect and be honest with who and what I need to be. My perfect setting is in a relaxed room, preferably with big windows and natural light. I’ll usually play soft music and maybe light a candle for an extra creative vibe.

 

Most of all, my greatest joy and satisfaction is being a daughter of The Most High! I love the Lord with all my heart, mind and soul. You may be familiar with the Serenity Prayer that begins, “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change…” Talk about humbling. Stay tuned.
